How to Fall Back in Love With My Husband – Advice For Wives

“I want to know how to fall back in love with my husband.” This is a statement made by many married women each and every day. Marriage is not always an easy road to take and over time feelings can shift and you can feel yourself slowly falling out of love with the man you married. It’s not uncommon for a woman to reach a place emotionally where she realizes that she loves her husband but is no longer in love with him. If this is occurring in your marriage and you don’t want to consider a separation or divorce you need to find a way to rekindle the love you once felt for him.

Like many women when I was learning how to fall back in love with my husband I realized that I first had to let go of all the anger and resentment I was feeling towards him. It’s so easy to become consumed with negative feelings when you and your spouse are struggling with conflict. Those feelings can eat away at the foundation of the relationship and eventually lead to the marriage coming apart. Instead of focusing on the things about your husband that anger or upset you, start thinking about what you love about him. This can take some effort but before long you’ll start seeing him in a more positive light.

You also need to focus more on him as a man and less on him as a co-parent if you want to know how to fall back in love with him. The dynamic between a couple changes when they have children and their relationship as a couple often suffers because of it. Make an effort to spend some alone time with your spouse away from the children. Depending on their age this may mean that you two can focus on each other every evening when the children go to bed or you plan on childcare so you can spend some time alone outside of the home. The point is to make an effort to reconnect with your spouse on a woman to man level again.
